| Comment | Chances are the systems are installed wrong. I had builder install networking points in my house, had to call them out when they mangled all the wires and show them how to do it properly.
Intercoms are a punchdown method same as network points they all trained to strip the wires then put them in the sockets by hand (which then fall out because they didn't use the tool correct which involves not stripping them).
TL;DR look at the intercom wiring chances are its an easy fix with a pair of snips and a punchdown tool if the wires were stripped and hand installed. |
