As people are saying, it very much depends on what you need from the flat/area. If you just need somewhere to live and park your car, with plenty of shops nearby for basic stuff and great access to the city? If it's just somewhere to sleep and keep your stuff, and you actually live most of your life somewhere else then you should be ok.

But if you want to move to an area where you can socialise locally, or go for a walk round the block for pleasure, or feel your neighbours will look-out for you or have any kind of feeling of 'community'. Springburn, and certainly that particular part, is not for you.

I was born there and now live 2 minutes away.
