| Comment | Kessinton Hall in Bearsden was formerly a substation for the tram line that ran to Milngavie. It's a big old building, but nothing that would make you think of trams.
A few years ago, I was driving down Hyndland Rd, trying to avoid the many potholes, when I noticed the old tram lines visible under the tarmac. I was surprised that they hadn't been lifted, but also that there was only 3 or 4 inches of road covering them. I'd like to think they'll never be seen again, but I suspect the potholes will still be there. |
