Small time landlord here.
I rent 1 flat out for 400 a month. I haven't put the rent up since I started.
Letting agency keeps asking me to put it up by 5% but I do alright out of it.
I have sold the other 1 I had in the same location.
I got 475 from it never put the rent up for the 3 years I had it. When I handed the keys to the guy buying it he said he was putting it up to 600 a month.
