I get the pain there, but I can't see it being agreed to. Routing everyone via Thornwood roundabout will just move congestion elsewhere, not to mention that anyone that is using it for access to the whole Broomhill section of Crow Rd and the surrounding houses will face quite a detour (I am pretty sure you can't do a half U right turn at the Abbey Drive lights).
