So pandemics don’t just turn into flu…
They do have patterns - of recurrent variants and flares. Literally anything could be round the corner.
It’s worth mentioning that Glasgow’s last episode of the bubonic plague was in the 1920s and they understood that only way to eradicate it fully was for complete physical change of spaces and implementation of new medical protocol.
So if we want to truly get rid of all covid variants- we can’t expect it to happen without major change and investment on a personal and governmental level. Not immediate flubbing back to ‘normal’. |
