| Comment | I took a refresher lesson after not driving for about 9 years after getting my license and it was useless. The guy took me to an industrial estate and just did all the basic intro stuff, which I was fine with anyway. I wanted him to take me out on to roads to build confidence, but he said it would take 4 or 5 lessons to get to that. I saved myself the money and just did it myself. To be fair it was nerve wrecking but after a few runs on the m8 I was fine. Take your time, build it up slowly from quiet roads to motorways, and get P plates if you need for other drivers.
