There might be bad pedestrians but pedestrians will always the most vulnerable road user. Drivers of motorised vehicles needs to accept that cyclists and pedestrians are vulnerable, and be responsible even when vulnerable road users are in the wrong, being thoughtless, or selfish. Cyclists must also take responsibility as pedestrians are more vulnerable than them.

How many car drivers or motorcyclists blatantly blaze through red lights that have been solid for a period of time compared to cyclists.

The junction at my work has a cycle lane. A couple of times a week I have to slam the brakes on to avoid flattening a cyclist who is blazing through a red light and doesn’t understand traffic patterns or the highway code. I’ve yet to make an emergency stop for a licensed driver at this junction.
