| Comment | I totally agree with you. But I’ve had too many awful experiences crossing at the green man beside my home to know that, while OF COURSE drivers/cyclists should stop at the red, they don’t always do that. So I am always careful to make sure they have stopped before I step onto the road.
Think about it another way, as a woman, I SHOULD be able to walk down a dark alley on my own at night. Do I? Hell no. Sometimes you need to take steps yourself because you can’t trust other peoples’ actions. |
