In the West End is going to be London prices (or that is what I learned after doing a bit of research). I can vouch for The Lunatic Fringe in Bank Street. If you are low in cash, websites like Treatwell or 5pm do discounted prices for plenty of hairdressers and you can see reviews, which is always helpful.
