I think I’d really miss the interactiveness of in person tours. Also the fear of being recorded is quite quite real.
I love the stuff that sprouts up from observations or the background of your guests.
It’s much more personal and means that they’re getting an insight into the city for their eyes and interests only rather than a generalised point to point tour.
Currently working on a book based on some original research. Just waiting for archives to open back up. And working a day job doing less interesting things.
It’s not ideal but I’m not the only person who has had to pivot in the last few years and I’m luckier than some. |
