Big fan of the Park Bar actually, favourite haunt of the local hipsters and students from down south, popular with Celtic fans as well. Did a ceilidh night before lockdown, if thats evidence enough of a thriving and distinct community for you then fair enough. I know a few of the regulars though (who would also drink in places like Two Ways) from when I stayed in Anderston and if I asked them about a "highland community" they'd look at me like I had three heads.

I understand completely that the idea of an old-timey traditional "highland community" in the big city is appealing, and even romantic, but I'm sorry to say that it just does not exist in 2022.
