| Comment | I lived in Townhead Terrace when I was a student. Granted this was around 2010 (RIP me student years). Back then it was mostly just a slight student vibe, and from my bedroom you could hear noise from one of the bars at night. Never really an issue for me as I sleep with earphones in. I also had flatmates who would escort me to and fro the station at night if need be, but if they weren't available I would head down walk fast home in about 5 mins. Not always ideal but I never felt particularly more unsafe there than I do staying on the southside of Glasgow in these days.
Like I say, it was a fair while ago, but I have fond memories. |
