No one is arguing that the stakes are the same, obviously cars are more likely to be deadly if they hit someone. In a an accident I'd bet the odds of injury are about the same, even if the severity is different.


Just because one mode of transport is less deadly doesn't mean they are allowed to act less responsibly.


All road users should be reading from the same hymn book, e.g. Stopping at reds
