We are all used to it, but people who are not from Glasgow would be shocked at how little time is spent outdoors or on physical activity by the average Glaswegian. We get about 6 hours of daily daylight in the winter. A lot of people count “drinking alcohol” as their number one hobby (or as we rather disingenuously refer to it “socialising with friends”). |
