There is a massive difference between making a profit and being exploitative, and you make it sound like it's the same thing. Having one property is a way to invest your money to counter inflation it brings very little as profit after all the headaches of managing it, paying tax, finding tenants etc.


As for the buying it before it goes to market, I for one am glad that the price won't get inflated. If anything the madness that is happening currently with homes being sold for 5 to many percent over the home report is much worse for the housing market and people like me that will never get to own anything.
