Roadworks: trying to fix all the potholes/broken sewers/ruptured water pipes that burst due to HGV's thundering over them
M8: A lot of cities and planners thought that copying America would lead to 'progress'. While other countries reduced motorways we increased them, and now they too are fucked!
EDIT: It could have been even worse. They were planning to flatten most of the city centre for more roads |
