Out of town centres are so much more convenient for the majority of the population. Not just geographically closer, but financially advantageous given they have free parking.
For arguments sake, if GCC waived parking fees, would people go out their way to drive into a miserable city centre to go shopping? I don’t see it.
They’ve neglected the town for years now, and this is another sign of the times. That being said, I’m not sure what they can do to halt the change. |
