| Comment | Plenty of Labour voters switched to voting Conservative last time though. And a lot of Labour voters here have switched to the SNP since 2007 or so. I think the closest you'll get to the science of it is looking at the analysis from John Curtis and the like over the years. I'd say that the Conservatives are just very successful at lurching one way or the other, or seeming to, whilst covering up their rampant hypocrisy. I mean, they've got large swathes of England's poor voting for them as they make them poorer, but, you know, Brexit, etc. A sorry state of affairs and a sorry excuse of a system. |
