If you are looking for colour, you could try the [Rainbow Room.](https://www.rainbowroominternational.com/salons) They can be quite pricey but worth it.
There was a brilliant salon on Argyle Street called Cusp but it unfortunately closed (?) I've always wondered what happened to it.
