Braehead is in Renfrewshire, and so was a decision for Renfrewshire. It's impacted Glasgow though so I think it fine to include in the list of nearby out of town shopping centres that have led to the decline of city centre retail.
Silverburn is a renovation of the Pollok Centre, but the Pollok Centre was not a direct rival to Glasgow's inner city retail.
