| Comment | Haha sorry! I’ve been living on this street for nearly 4 years now and never had a sniff of a warden in that time. After a while of parking in my designated parking spot in the residential car park, I decided just to park on the street directly in front of my door for convenience. I’ve been doing this for about 3 years. Then suddenly today out of nowhere a warden has appeared. Had a chat with the guy about how we’ve never had the parking policed on this street the entire time I’ve lived here, and how it’s unfair to spontaneously decide to patrol it and stick tickets on us without any warning. He even conceded that this isn’t their regular route and it was a one-off that they came down. If they’re going to start regularly patrolling, then sure, nae bother, I’ll park in my spot from now on, but if it’s just going to be once in 4 years, then am I fuck paying for that. We’ll see what they say. Worth a shot. |
