So we bought a ground floor tenement - we knew it had damp issues and we were doing a full renovation.

To get two and a half room fully damp worked was just under £1000. We got a different company to do the plastering and they did some extra work on top of the areas that were damp proofed, but all in all it was £2800 total. The estimate we got with the home report was almost bang on, but we did get the extra plastering work.

To be honest, it’s not the worlds biggest deal if you’ve got the cash to spend and you’re planning on redecorating anyways. Having now done a major renovation, i would say it was honestly one of the most hassle free parts.

We got a few quotes and went through a company called Bromac in the end. They were good overall, bit of a delayed start but we were renovating in the middle of lockdown so understandable.

Good luck :)
