Take a day trip to Balloch by train and spend some time by Loch Lomond. Transport Museum, Kelvingrove museum. Go get lunch/ dinner in Ashton lane, walk through the botanic gardens. Spend a day shopping in the centre. Take a day trip to Edinburghs royal mile by train. Plenty of other smaller things in/around those places.
