If you spend £1000 a month on just your housing then you'd really struggle as a full time student.
I worked 30 hours a week on top of uni for my final year and it was hell, and even then with the loan I was only taking home about £1,400 a month. Managed to scrape by financially and academically but I couldn't have done it for 4 years.
