What do you mean 'get my licence at least 6 months a year?' Not sure what you being my 'enforced' either.

The required hours of driving lessons by law are around 20-25 where I come from, if I remember correctly. How further apart are the lessons or how many hours of lessons one is having per week is influenced by the schedules of the instructor and the student alike. For me, it was a 2-month process until I passed my exams (theory + driving test) on the first try. Until the official (full or whatever you call it) licence will be released which takes some time unfortunately (around 3 months), I am allowed to drive in my home-county on a temporary licence. This temporary licence ofc is only valid for use within the country that grants it; not other countries.
