| Comment | Agree with this. Nationwide if you want a branch - they still have branches in Shawlands, Argyle Street, Byres Road and Anniesland. Monzo if you’re not bothered for a branch - I’ve been very happy with Monzo and the few times I have had problems like chargebacks and unknown transactions, they have sorted it straight away.
I really like the Monzo app, as anything that happens on your account is shown immediately on your app. If you use your card in store or online, it updates straight away. Even pre-authorisations (like a hotel might do) ping up, which has been useful when I got some unknown transactions put through recently. |
