| Comment | Its unlikely you'll see them from your bedroom window if you're living in the city center (not impossible, but unlikely).
I recently got into star watching and I usually will drive somewhere with little light pollution on a clear night. Not even very far out of the city, only a 15 min or so drive I find myself with a very clear sky and can sit for hours watching the stars.
However, if you can drive or have access, there is a dark sky park (Galloway Forrest) where you can camp and I can personally say I have never seen the sky look anything like this with the naked eye like I did there. |
