Avoid Gilson Grey. We used them and they were terrible - delayed the purchase as they couldn’t keep on top of different paperwork. As first time buyers the specific solicitor we had was not familiar with the Lifetime ISA scheme - despite us paying a fee for their ‘expertise’ to use this with our purchase.
The initial guy who dealt with our offers etc was great but you get moved to someone else to do the conveyancing and she was not very good.
Felt like I was chasing them to get things done within the agreed timeframe and paying for the pleasure. |
