And arguing about capacity, like 'if you let this person go home, they will have drunk themselves to death by monday morning.'
My boss told me something that should influence everyone's perception of the NHS: when you cut resource to some structures, efficiency *appears* to go up as folk get bundled out. So it can be easy pickings. A good system should have folk there until they're better, and many services actually just want to discharge asap. |
