I agree that these charities / helplines are crisis aversion - they can de-escalate the situation, and sometimes that's what is needed to save someone's life. They've helped me a few times, and sometimes they haven't. You're right that they aren't mental health treatment, they're very separate from for example, primary care teams. I hope you're ok OP. |
