Yes, that would make sense & it’s unclear from reading the article whether that’s the issue.

I mainly drive to the New-ish Glasgow hospital (QEUH); but when I have had to get a bus pre covid it seemed relatively simple.

The issue appears to be in relation to free park and ride being available but transport to and from cutting off before people finish/start shifts. Also staff feeling the alternate car park is unsafe.

Agreed that putting in 8,000 car parks for each employee (exaggeration as they won’t all be on shift together) to have a space + still need to consider visitors. It would also be criticised for its environmental impact if that occurred & also massive costs.
