I agree there are large car parks in the city centre; however it depends on the job - how feasible that is to use them.
Also the cost is an issue. I think I do agree with the comment that if you are required to use your car for work ie during work hours - car parking should definitely be covered.
It is an interesting thing - I don’t expect an employer to pay for me to get to work or provide parking if I want to use my car. I suppose some argument might be made that certain unsociable working hours require a car more than hours. But then again some people work into early hours of the morning and survive without. Personally do you think NHS staff should be provided with parking at their work? |
