Same, although i feel it's worse if your in sales. It's true that they are outdated. They prefer selling to a person face to face rather than online. They've updated their website recently and it's actually usable now to the point where a lot of the holidays are cheaper than booking direct.

Management are terrible, they are so far removed from the real world. They took on a bunch of ex Thomas cook execs as advisors when it went bust and they do nothing, literally all used it as a stepping stone to work from home in the English countryside and find a new job.

I had to laugh during the first lockdown when Barrhead took part in the travel day of action. President of the company outside Scottish Parliament with a placard demanding help from the government on the TV and her £1000+ handbag at her feet.

Oh and FYI any staff who aren't sales staff are still working for the nhs doing test and protect. Barrhead don't pay their wages. They only brought sales staff back to rake in the money. I can see that it's needed (most holidays aren't paid off until a few weeks before departure, which means they won't get any kind of actual cash until April/May.)
They also made half the workforce redundant over the last year (when they started having to contribute to furlough)
