| Comment | I think he's making a pretty tempting deal to the promoters/bands. Probably a large share of the same ticket sales so he doesn't have to pay a huge deposit for the bands upfront. Then he cancels it last minute, tells the band and pockets the cash. He might refund some people but you'd be amazed the amount of folk that forget or don't bother asking for refunds for cancelled gigs. Even if 10% of the thousands of ticket sales don't ask for a refund he banks a small fortune and rinse, repeat. |
