While it's fine safety wise, a lot of the buildings on James Watt St are in a bit of a state - I'd check the flat carefully for damp etc if it's in one of the buildings next to the storage unit
It's also a very narrow st with high buildings, so bear in mind you'll have almost zero natural light - it's really dank even in the summer
