I think one of the main differences between Edinburgh and Glasgow I noticed is that in the 15 years or so I lived there I never heard anyone saying much about Glasgow except how good the music scene was whereas in Glasgow it's quite hard to avoid people going on about how Glasgow is more real / unpretentious like a city covered in litter is somehow character building.
Also I feel like the "of course its clean all the tourists go there" comments have a poor understanding of cause and effect. |
