So many commercial properties are owned by overseas speculators who don’t care what state the property is in or whether it’s occupied.
It’s just the same as putting their money in a savings account only the return is exponentially better. PLUS there’s always the chance you’ll get compulsorily purchased and make an easy £££££.
We need more stringent rules for landlords. If a property has been empty for 5 years they should be forced to drop rents etc. |
