| Comment | I have lived in Scotland since I was like 5 but I never kicked my somewhat "posh" sounding English accent, and it definitely sucks when I occasionally get profiled by people for it.
It was legit horrible when I was a kid, but I lived in a small town then so that was probably why.
Glasgow has been great though. I get a handful of issues but this city is so fucking welcoming that its incredibly rare compared with other places I visit. People often mistake me for a tourist or a student though and that's just lowkey annoying. |
