Comment | Given that it has Kitchener saying "these camps are the reason we're winning this war" I'd suggest that the way it's drawing attention is pretty problematic. I haven't watched the whole film but it sounds like the director for some reason has a thing for excusing all the sins of the Empire.
Again, in a *comedy* film? It's, at best, all a bit weird and tonally misjudged, suspect the director is pushing back against the misogyny issues of the other films by trying to be an edgelord |
