About 4 years ago on the academia subreddit, I replied to someone about their CV and how they should apply for a PhD, and there was one going in Glasgow (by-the-by).
Well, they did, I was the supervisor and today she passed her viva exam for that PhD. Leaves for a post-doctoral job in the USA next week.
