My now husband proposed with a £7 ring from topshop that turned my finger green, and it was perfect because he knew I wanted to pick my own one. If you’ve got a ring lined up, a decoy is the way to go (maybe try and secretly grab a ring she already owns?), just be sure to let her know after! 😂
