| Comment | This whole post gives off “Can’t someone else do it?” Homer Simpson vibes. I totally agree that it should start with the general public. I feel that the council waste department is treading water with the huge amount of litter and the individuals working there are generally hardworking. It’s not as easy as ‘print more money’ when it comes to employing more staff to clean the streets. There are budget constraints and also, more importantly limited numbers of people who actually want street-cleaning jobs. |
