You should get free quotes from just about everybody but Roofers are the most cowboy trade of the many that I've encountered. I've had roofers attempt to charge over the odds for tiny amounts of work, or they carry out work that doesn't fix the problem. Seem to be a lot more chancers in that trade than any other I've dealt with.
