Even the bigger companies seemed to run as fly-by-night. The fella that ended up doing it was the only one who returned a quote and even then he never showed up when he said he would, he'd just rock up when it suited him and expect to start work. We engaged him from one of the bigger Scottish companies, but after a while I realised he had taken the job on as a homer, even though he was showing up in work uniform and driving a work van. |
