as much as i want to believe it, i don't think i can given how clueless they seem to be when it comes to cycling infrastructure. i love that they used the garscube road cycle path since that's one of the few decent ones they've done..... even then, you're often dodging broken glass and it just randomly ends. but there's so many parts where the cycling infrastructure is non-existent, unusable or actively dangerous which really should be fixed first (like the street where i broke both my arms after hitting a pothole in the roads because the cycle path is always filled with cars) yes, i'm still bitter about that.

at this point. i think most city planners know the benefits of better public transport connections, cycling and more walkable neighborhoods. but they keep meeting resistance and when something finally does get made, it pleases no one.

honestly. i'll just be happy if they give cyclists a safer way to cross the clyde that's not a massive detour to avoid the clyde tunnel cycle path.
