| Comment | Absolutely. They put in the narrowing fences as a "temporary" measure about 20 years ago and have just fucked about ever since.
From what I've heard the bridge is absolutely gubbed and needs rebuilt. They're doing the one on Nithsdale Road in the next few weeks and it's going to take 3 months, but the Shields Road one is much much busier and I would say more urgent. I live nearby and get notifications that they're doing work on the line (in the middle of the night) every couple of weeks so it seems like desperate attempts to repair a ruined route. |
