| Comment | Welcome to reality. The idea that there's a government body to deal with most issues we consider important is a fascade. Even the police, despite their crazy budget (compared with social services) won't be very interested.
Most social services are hollowed out shells of what they should be. Most people think all of this is taken care of, until one day they get involved and realise there is nobdy to turn to. Gaslighting and misdirection is the name of the game.
Sorry to hear about your experience. Hopefully you find a resolution. Unless you get media coverage though it'll likely be swept under the rug, the kids will grow old and likely end up in jail when they become adults. |
