| Comment | As long as you arent doing it in the middle of the night it should be fine, think anything before 11pm and after like 10am is fine noise wise. You can also be strategic about where you do it, if you know the rough layout of other people's gaffs you can avoid doing things above or below people's bedrooms. For example, I couldn't do laundry late at night in my old flat bc our kitchen was above a bedroom and it would keep people up, but now my kitchen is above another kitchen and we both do laundry at night with no issue :) Part of living in an urban environment is noise pollution, if people want total silence they should move to the country. If it becomes an issue, you could maybe find out your neighbour's schedule and work around that.
One can rent workshops or studios, if you have a couple extra quid a month. Some people even go in half on a space to share it so if you ask around you might be able to rent a space with another artist or craftsperson. |
