| Comment | It’s worth calling ahead. I hired a van to clear a load of shite out of the cellar that was left by out previous resident. You need to prove you stay in Glasgow council area (council tax bill, utility bill etc.) You are allowed in with vans as long as it is residential waste, but they might want you to go via the weigh bridge which is round the back. It was always the case you had to book in a van though.
Also, Dawsholm had a fire last year so they’re not taking bulk waste, rubble etc. at the moment. Last time I was there they were turning a guy away with a load of doors. Worth giving them a ring to avoid a wasted trip. |
